The Lions Book Sale is one of Hawke’s Bay’s most popular community fundraising events – and it’s happening right here at Tōmoana Showgrounds.

Each year, thousands of books, magazines, puzzles, and DVDs are donated by the community and made available at bargain prices. From classic novels to children’s favourites, cookbooks to non-fiction gems, the sale offers something for every reader.

Organised by the local Lions Club, all proceeds go directly back into supporting community projects, charities, and initiatives across Hawke’s Bay. It’s a wonderful opportunity to stock up your home library while giving back to the community.
