Welcome to Tōmoana Showgrounds, a multi-use event venue located just a five-minute drive from Hastings city centre. The venue offers an extensive green site offering multiple zones that can be utilised individually or as a collective and scaled to suit any event, along with the Exhibition Hall, a large indoor building that can host seated dinners, banquets, exhibitions & conferences, smaller live performances and physical activities.
An iconic venue, Tōmoana Showgrounds hosts a wide range of events throughout the year, and its picturesque Waikoko Gardens is home to the renowned Hawke’s Bay Farmers' Market where every Sunday thousands of people flock to enjoy a taste of Hawke’s Bay.

Tōmoana Showgrounds is owned and operated by the Hastings District Council. We proudly partner with Hawke’s Bay A&P Society, and other major event producers to create an annual calendar of events to bring vibrancy to the Hastings District and beyond.
